The Chair serves as a platform for rigorous research, the development of practical methodologies, and the publication of high-impact work that supports organizations in implementing TQM regardless of size, sector, or maturity level. It plays a central role in building awareness of quality philosophies, fostering collaboration with international bodies, and strengthening the integration of research and practice.

Through structured research initiatives, academic publications, and regional engagement, the Juran Chair contributes to addressing critical quality challenges, advancing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement across industries. It maintains strong collaboration with global institutions, including the Juran Institute, to ensure that the latest knowledge, tools, and frameworks are adapted and applied effectively within the Arab context.

The Chair holder is appointed for a renewable five-year term through a formal governance process and is entrusted with leading research, publishing internationally recognized work, organizing academic and professional events, and promoting ethical, evidence-based quality practices.
