The Bachelor of Science in Sustainability and Green Economy is designed to cater to both high school graduates and professionals seeking to enhance their qualifications in sustainability and green economy. HBMSU’s lifelong learning model, including stackable micro-credentials and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), provides flexibility for learners to accumulate credentials at their own pace. Course topics include environmental sustainability, sustainable agriculture and food security, sustainable communities, climate change, water sustainability, and natural resource management. Additional topics focus on advanced concepts such as environmental and sustainability policy, sustainable tourism and hospitality, marketing for a sustainable world, and the fundamentals of innovation and entrepreneurship. Learners will also explore the circular economy, sustainability reporting and standards, green economy, and sustainable cities and communities.
