CBMC in Sustainability, Climate Action, and Adaptation

Overview

This Level 6 micro-credential provides in-depth knowledge of sustainability science, climate action mechanisms, and adaptation strategies within the UAE context.

Learners will engage with advanced climate modeling, policy analysis, and practical adaptation planning aligned with the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategic Initiative and the outcomes of COP28 hosted in the UAE. 

The program combines theoretical rigor with applied case studies from UAE climate initiatives, preparing professionals to lead climate action across sectors. Participants will critically examine decarbonization pathways, climate risk assessment methodologies, and the integration of climate considerations into strategic decision-making. 

Learners will develop advanced competencies in climate data analysis, adaptation planning, and stakeholder communication, enabling them to translate complex climate science into actionable organizational and policy strategies within the UAE's unique environmental, economic, and social landscape.
